Welcome to Plympton Conservative Club
Founded in the early 1900s by a group of like-minded people, Plympton Conservative Club is a long-standing, local institution. With a range of excellent facilities, our social club is the perfect place to socialise and unwind!
With a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, our members-only club is a much-loved and busy hub for the local community. Located on the Ridgeway in the heart of Plympton, we’re proud to have served our members and the local area for well over a century and have over 3,000 members. Easy to access by foot, car or public transport, we’re open seven days a week for food, beverages, activities and bar games.

At Plympton Conservative Club, we pride ourselves on offering a huge range of social activities and exciting events. You can see all our upcoming events in the calendar feed – so pencil them into your diary!
We hold a number of different social events throughout the week. From live music and quiz nights to the meat raffle and sporting events, Plympton Conservative Club is a great place to meet with family and friends for a brilliant night out!
We also offer a number of sporting activities, with an in-house skittle alley and leagues for snooker, pool and darts. For golfing enthusiasts, our Golf Society is a great way to improve your game and socialise, without paying expensive subscription fees.

Plympton’s Best Kept Secret
The Conservative Club features a well-stocked bar – with a comprehensive selection of real ales and wines – as well as two lounge areas and a restaurant for our members to relax and dine in. We’re also home to a pool room, snooker room, a skittle alley and dartboards, so our members can enjoy a range of sporting activities. What’s more, we have a large function room for hire, perfect for business meetings, family celebrations and work events.
If you’re looking for somewhere to go for a quiet evening, then look no further! With a friendly, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, our social club is the perfect place to socialise. We’ve got a great selection of drinks, plenty of bar games to keep you entertained and TVs in our lounge area, so you can relax in style!
What’s more, you can order a delicious and reasonably priced meal at the club, so you can really enjoy your night out. We offer a fixed menu and daily specials on a Friday and Saturday, with breakfast and lunch available for the rest of the week. Made with fresh ingredients and cooked to order, you can dine in our restaurant or lounge area.

Plympton Conservative Club is home to a wide range of fantastic facilities, available for all of our members and their guests to enjoy.
Bar & Lounge
The Conservative Club has spacious bar and lounge areas. Recently refurbished, this space offers our members and their guests a relaxing place to enjoy a drink and a chat in comfortable surroundings.
Restaurant
Our restaurant offers delicious, freshly cooked meals at affordable prices! With fixed menu and daily specials (both at lunchtime and dinnertime), we offer a mouth-watering selection of hearty, crowd pleasing dishes.
Function Suite
Our spacious and beautifully decorated function room can accommodate up to 120 seated guests, with entertainment and business facilities available upon request. Perfect for wedding receptions, birthday parties, business events or meetings!
Big Screen
On our big screen, we show as many sporting events as we can – including live premiership football, rugby, cricket matches and golf. Our TV sports lounge is the best place to watch!
Live Entertainment
The social club holds regular entertainment nights. With everything from live music and quiz nights to special live sporting events and discos, there’s a little something for all members to enjoy!
